#41. Tortoni

825 Avenida de Mayo, Buenos Aires.

The Tortoni Café is one of the most emblematic and the oldest coffee shop in Buenos Aires. Build in 1858, it was the place where many great painters, writers, journalists and musicians used to gather and share their talents and ideas.

In this image what you see is a tribute to 3 of the most important Argentinian characters that visited Tortoni. Jorge Luis Borges (famous writer), Carlos Gardel (famous Tango singer) and Alfonsina Storni (famous poet).

If you go to BA, don´t leave without going to the Tortoni Café. Beautiful place.
